[TPCOMS X ITSG] WORKSHOP “BEYOND CONNECTIVITY: OPERATING THE ENTIRE HOSPITALITY DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER ONE SLA”

Ho Chi Minh City, 7 March 2026 – IT Hotel Saigon Group (ITSG) and TPCOMS co-hosted a workshop titled “Beyond Connectivity: Operating the Entire Hospitality Digital Infrastructure Under One SLA.” The event brought together IT managers and technology professionals responsible for running IT systems in restaurants and hotels.

The workshop shared practical perspectives on building and operating hospitality IT infrastructure as digital transformation accelerates. Technology is now central to hotel operations. Property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, online booking platforms, payment systems, guest Wi-Fi, CCTV, IPTV, and cloud applications all depend on reliable IT infrastructure. Even a minor incident can disrupt check-in and payments, affect the guest experience, and impact hotel revenue.

In his opening remarks, Nguyen Van Huy, Sales Director, Enterprise & Hospitality at TPCOMS, highlighted the need to run systems efficiently with clear accountability across the entire operation. Many hotels use separate providers for internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, cloud services, and security. This divides operational responsibility among several vendors and makes incident resolution more complex.

As a provider of connectivity infrastructure and managed IT services, TPCOMS is developing a unified approach to hospitality digital infrastructure. Under this model, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, cloud services, and system operations are managed under a single service-level agreement (SLA). This approach reflects the central theme of the workshop, “Beyond Connectivity – Operating the Entire Hospitality Digital Infrastructure Under One SLA.”

In the first keynote, “From Multiple Vendors to One SLA,” Y Trần Trung Nguyên Kbuôr, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Cloud Computing at TPCOMS, discussed common challenges that arise when several vendors operate a hotel’s IT systems. He explained that hotels often lack a single point of accountability when incidents occur, making it harder to coordinate a solution.

To address this challenge, TPCOMS introduced its “Under One SLA” model. The hotel’s entire digital infrastructure is monitored, operated, and supported within a unified management framework. Clear operating procedures help prevent disputes between providers over who is responsible when something goes wrong.

The second keynote focused on digital infrastructure architecture designed for hospitality. TPCOMS experts presented a range of hotel connectivity and system management solutions, highlighting TPConnect and TPHotelNet.

TPConnect provides high-speed internet and data transmission infrastructure to support critical systems such as PMS, POS, booking systems, and cloud applications. TPHotelNet delivers smart Wi-Fi for restaurants and hotels, with centralized management, bandwidth control, and separate networks for guests, staff, and internal systems. Together with TPCloud and 24/7 managed IT services, these solutions form a complete IT infrastructure that helps hotels keep their systems running reliably and improve connectivity for guests.

Following the keynotes, attendees joined a technical discussion and Q&A with Hà Ngọc Tân, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Telecommunications; Y Trần Trung Nguyên Kbuôr, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Cloud Computing; and Nguyễn Văn Huy, Sales Director, Enterprise & Hospitality at TPCOMS.

IT managers spoke directly with the experts about deploying connectivity and Wi-Fi infrastructure for hotels and operating systems under a managed services model.

The experts also explained how TPConnect and TPHotelNet work within a unified SLA. The entire system is monitored 24/7, with rapid incident detection and clearly defined response procedures. TPCOMS also commits to providing on-site technical support in under 30 minutes, helping hotels address issues promptly during daily operations.

The session also covered SLA standards for hospitality IT infrastructure. These include detecting incidents within 5 minutes, notifying customers within 15 minutes, and maintaining 99% to 99.5% monthly system availability. The team outlined incident resolution and equipment replacement procedures designed to minimize service downtime.

The workshop also gave members of IT Hotel Saigon Group an opportunity to connect. IT managers exchanged experiences from running hotel IT systems and discussed practical technical challenges, alongside the technology trends shaping the industry’s digital transformation.

Through the event, TPCOMS aims to continue working with the hospitality IT community to build an efficient operating model that can support businesses over the long term. Managing the entire infrastructure under one framework helps maintain reliable systems, provides clear visibility into operations, and establishes accountability from start to finish.
