On 15 May 2026 – Following the first Beyond Connectivity workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, TPCOMS partnered with the Khanh Hoa Hospitality IT Group (ITHKH) to host “Beyond Connectivity: From Multiple Vendors to One SLA for Hospitality IT”. The workshop focused on how hotels and resorts can manage their IT infrastructure as more of the guest experience depends on reliable connectivity and systems that run around the clock.

The workshop brought together IT directors, IT managers, technology professionals, and representatives from hotels and resorts across central Vietnam. They shared practical perspectives on the challenges hospitality IT teams face, including coordinating multiple vendors, maintaining service uptime, and resolving incidents in properties that operate 24/7.

“Under One SLA” for hospitality IT operations
A highlight of the workshop was the keynote “From Multiple Vendors to One SLA for Hospitality IT,” presented by Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Sales Director of Enterprise & Hospitality at TPCOMS.

Mr. Huy highlighted vendor coordination as one of the biggest challenges for hospitality IT teams. Many hotels use separate providers for internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, cloud services, and security. When an incident occurs, the in-house IT team has to work with several providers at once to identify the cause. With responsibility for resolving the issue spread across different teams, recovery can take longer and affect both hotel operations and the guest experience.

TPCOMS introduced its “Under One SLA” model to address this challenge. It brings internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, cloud, and managed IT services under a single service-level agreement (SLA), with one point of contact accountable from start to finish.
Centralized monitoring gives hotels a clearer view of their systems and helps teams respond faster when incidents occur. A single point of contact also reduces the time in-house IT teams spend coordinating vendors and limits disputes over who should resolve an issue.
The first workshop covered the overall design of hospitality digital infrastructure. The Khánh Hòa event focused on how hotels and resorts can put that approach into practice with TPConnect, TPHotelNet, and managed IT services.

TPConnect provides internet and data transmission services for hotels and resorts that need high network availability and rapid technical support. The service is designed for reliable, secure connectivity and centralized management. It helps properties reduce the risk of service interruptions, run their operations more efficiently, and give guests a reliable connection from the moment they first get online.

Besides that, TPHotelNet combines Wi-Fi with smart wireless transmission for hotels and resorts. It supports wide-area coverage, seamless roaming, and centralized management, with features to improve connectivity in busy areas such as ballrooms and conference rooms, as well as across outdoor resort spaces. Hotels can control bandwidth, set up branded Wi-Fi landing pages, offer voucher-based login, monitor the network through a dashboard, and integrate with their property management system (PMS). These features support day-to-day operations and help hotels tailor the connection experience for guests.

TPCOMS experts noted that as guests expect faster and more reliable connections, Wi-Fi has become part of how they judge the quality of a hotel’s service.
The workshop also covered managed IT services and how hotels can manage their infrastructure centrally. TPCOMS outlined SLA targets for detecting incidents within 5 minutes, notifying customers within 15 minutes, and maintaining 99% to 99.5% monthly system availability. The team also explained how it handles incidents and replaces equipment to minimize downtime.

The open Q&A was one of the most engaging parts of the workshop. Attendees spoke directly with TPCOMS experts about managing IT infrastructure at large hotels and resorts, monitoring systems centrally, improving Wi-Fi performance, setting up high-speed internet access (HSIA), and keeping services available around the clock. The discussion showed growing interest in managing these services together across the entire property.

The event closed with a networking dinner, a prize draw, and time for members of central Vietnam’s hospitality IT community to connect. IT managers, technology professionals, and business representatives continued sharing their experiences in an informal setting.

Through the Beyond Connectivity series, TPCOMS aims to keep working with the hospitality IT community to build an operating model that is efficient and sustainable over the long term. Managing the entire infrastructure under one framework helps keep systems stable, makes it easier to see how services are performing, and clarifies who is accountable when issues arise.
After the events in Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa, Beyond Connectivity will continue in more locations, with sessions that take a closer look at digital infrastructure, system operations, and digital transformation for hospitality. The series aims to give hospitality IT teams across Vietnam a place to share practical challenges, compare approaches, and find ways to support the industry as it grows.
